Miroslav Lechman – Vice President’s Award
Miro is a supervisor in Building Services who has been with Princeton since 2006. “Whether it's tackling problems or bringing enthusiasm, he's there,” wrote his nominator. “Miroslav is fair to his team, honest, and ethical, standing up for what's right and making sure we follow safety practices in everything we do.” He is known for being a leader who keeps an open mind and prioritizes sustainability practices.
Miro has a strong commitment to learning and growing, he started as a Custodian, was promoted to Lead Custodian, and promoted again to Supervisor. He shares this commitment with his team.
The Vice President’s Award recognizes an employee with ten plus years of Facilities service; who embodies the traits of honesty, trustworthiness, and strength of character as they accomplish their work every day.
Edward Enourato and Anna Lake – Excellence Award
Ed is a Plumber in Operations who has been working at Princeton for nearly 20 years. Described as “dedicated and diligent, he comes to work every day ready to support Princeton in any way he can.” Ed is constantly striving for excellence by providing high quality workmanship and seeking new knowledge and skills, all with a smile on his face.
Anna is a Business Support Specialist in Operations. She has been with Princeton for 10 years. “Anna is always ready, willing, and able to complete any assigned task with dedication and perseverance,” wrote her nominator. Over time, Anna has expanded her areas of responsibility and is known to be a subject matter expert in the financial management of the department and is a dedicated partner at work.
The Excellence Award recognizes employees with three plus years of Facilities service; who demonstrate dedication, commitment to quality work, and outstanding excellence.
Erik Breza, Rondel Robinson, and Kristen Sobolewski – Core Values Award
Erik has been with Operations for 14 years and currently works as a Mover. “His positive attitude and contributions towards the University’s Sustainability waste goal make him an ideal candidate for this award,” wrote his nominator. Multiple team members praised Erik for his commitment to safety and innovation while working with the SCRAP Lab composting operations.
Rondel is currently a Lead Custodian on the overnight shift in Operations and has been with Princeton for more than 10 years. According to his nominator, “Rondel is a great example of the kind of character that exemplifies the Princeton name in understanding, hardworking, dedication and inclusiveness.” Rondel came to Building Services from Campus Dining and has made a point to build positive, collaborative relationships with all those he works with.
Kristen was hired to Operations in 2018 as an Administrative Coordinator. “Whatever assignment you give to Kristen, especially a team-based assignment, her energy and enthusiasm breeds teamwork,” wrote the nominator. Serving as the “front door” of Facilities Operations, Kristen welcomes everyone who needs help and treats each of them with respect and kindness.
The Core Values Award recognizes employees who embody our Core Values on a day-to-day basis. Nominees for this award will have at least one year of service in Facilities and reliably demonstrate our Core Values.
