Making an Impression: Prints and Printmaking, 1500-2024

This seminar explores prints as a distinct form of art making and reproduction. The course will consider the design, material, artistic, economic, political, and social aspects of print culture in a variety of contexts and geographical locations, from the early modern period to the present.
