In this course we'll examine some key concepts in Augustine's social and political thought (including authority, citizenship, liberty, and property), with application to social topics Augustine wrote about (including marriage, parenting, and slavery). We will also look at Augustine's reception in the social and political thought of Thomas Aquinas.
