This half-term course provides students an opportunity to explore some of the legal issues that must be considered as policymakers design and implement policies. It surveys some of the basics of a legal education, focusing on the most relevant areas for public policy work. Topics include constitutional law, administrative law (with a focus on agency rulemaking), and statutory interpretation. Course is not open to students who are pursuing or already have a JD.
